Podcast Potential

One of my most missed features are the ability to automatically sync and download podcasts using my iPod.  So I found an application called PodKast on the android market that is used to stream and download a good selection of podcasts.

I was not immediately impressed by the … app but liked its potential. I have notice some improvement in its performance over the past few months.  The selection is not as extensive as iTunes but offers more than enough free goodies to keep you busy.

My recommendation is to try out NPR’s Planet Money podcast if you are looking to learn more about current economic and financial issues.  The podcast covers relevant topics, some of which can be quite complex.  For the more intricate topics they use a lot of layman explanations to keep it comprehensible to those of us who do not live in the Wall Street Journal.
